Talk on Sports Medicine at Royal Holloway College, Montagne Blanche

The 3rd edition of the Sports Medicine project was held on Wednesday 25 March 2009 at Royal Holloway College, Montagne Blanche in the presence of Mr. Dhiraj Singh Khamajeet, Chairman of the Mauritius Sports Council.
A First Aid kit, an Ice Box and a booklet on Sports Medicine were donated to the college.
Talk on Sports Medicine was carried out and 60 Students of Forms I attended the workshop.
The lecturers and the themes were: Mrs. B. Patpur Dowlut, Nutritionist of Flacq hospital - "NUTRITION" & Dr. Khemraj Dassyne, Sports Medical Officer - "LES BIENFAITS DES EXERCICES PHYSIQUES".
A quiz was held with questions related to the talks on Sports Medicine and the winners are Farzinath Aungroo, Sneha Bannarosea, Pratibha Neerunjun and Ishwaree Ujoodha. They were offered t shirts as gift by the Mauritius Sports Council.

Dear members of the Sports family, you have in hand what I consider to be a vital communication tool. The aim behind the website is to create a link within the Mauritian Sports Community. It’s also an opportunity for me to pay tribute to all these benevolent who serve our sport, year in and year out. I seize this opportunity to inform all our partners that the Mauritius Sports Council has moved a step forward and that we are now ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Members of the Sports Community, rest assured that the Mauritius Sports Council is doing its utmost to plan, coordinate and promote competitive and healthy recreational sports through financial, administrative and service assistance. These being the MSC vision and objectives.
Without the precious collaboration of each and everyone from the Mauritian Sports family it is impossible for the MSC to achieve its vision and objectives. I graciously thank the Ministry of Youth and Sports, all our stakeholders, and all our sponsors for their fruitful collaboration.
